Anthropic bars Claude Code from re-creating existing video games

An AI company has drawn its own line on copying. Anthropic, which makes the Claude AI models, has updated Claude Code so it won't help users re-create existing video games, Tom's Hardware reports.

Why it mattersRetro gaming has been flooded with AI-made rebuilds and ports, though people can still use the tool to make new games. The limit came from the toolmaker, not a court, and gives IP owners an example to put to other AI firms.

What it means

Physical venues win crowds by adding a second draw

Playback builds film nights around reunions and a party, Nomasei shares its London shop with another label, and Deloitte's Hong Kong figures arrive with calls for greener malls. Each pairs the visit with more than the goods.

The case against

Nomasei is staging a show for investors, not committing to shops.

Mike's take
18 East is hand block printing Alphanumeric's old skatewear. Fleece made slowly, on purpose, for a sport built on falling over. I rather like it.
